Day 1 of the Mpumalanga Tourism and Parks Agency (MTPA) and Thembisile Hani Local Municipality Tourism Tour has kicked off on a high note at the eZithabiseni Nature Reserve.
The tour started with a warm welcome and a breathtaking view of the nature reserve, setting the perfect tone for the two-day showcase of the province’s hidden gems.
Different media houses, content creators, influencers, MTPA officials, municipal representatives and tourism stakeholders joined the welcoming session, all united by one goal – to promote and showcase the beauty of Mpumalanga.
Delegates were treated to the serene landscapes, wildlife and tranquility that eZithabiseni Nature Reserve has to offer, highlighting its potential as a key attraction in the Nkangala District.
The tour forms part of Tourism Month activities and aims to position Thembisile Hani as a must-visit destination while supporting local tourism SMMEs and hospitality establishments.
