The suspects rented a car from Matsulu to Mattafin, bought Cleaning Hand Cloves on their way. The investigator also revealed that more than 23 stab wounds were found on Lusanda's body, and the suspects tried to destroy evidence after the incident. Other suspicions raised by the investigator is that the suspects may have sexually assaulted Lusanda after she was killed.
S’thole on Wednesday told the court that he did not see anything when the first accused committed the crimes and denied knowing anything.
The trial of the accused was then adjourned to Monday 09- February 2026, to proceed with the bail application.
